Innovation and development fund successful bids
The Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC) are pleased to announce Board approval for four proposals submitted under the Innovation and Development Fund (IDF) call. The successful bidders are:
- Perth College: Can you Diigo it? (GBP1950)
- A project which aims to create an online collaborative database of resources using the Diigo web 2.0 application.
- SCURL: Supporting Resource Sharing Initiatives through the provision of walk-in access (WIA) to e-resources subscribed to by HE Libraries (GBP8000)
- Creation of a good practice toolkit resulting from investigation into technical and operational solutions to enable HE institutions to make e-resources available to external users.
- Community and Sport Glasgow: Bibliotherapy – vulnerable groups pilot West Community Health and Care partnership (GBP10,000).
- To pilot positive therapeutic learning and wellbeing support to vulnerable groups using books and storytelling activities.
- Napier University: MLibrary – Examining the issues surrounding adoption of mobile technology (GBP7815)
- A research project to investigate student usage of and attitudes towards mobile technologies available to library services.
