SLAINTE is the website of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals in Scotland (CILIPS) and the Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC).

CILIPS is the Scottish arm of CILIP, the professional body for librarians and information professionals in the UK. SLIC is the independent advisory body to the Scottish Government and Scottish Ministers on library matters.

The two organisations operate a joint working agreement to support individuals and organisations working within library and information services in Scotland. SLAINTE combines the output of both organisations to offer Scottish librarians a single entry point to relevant resources and services.

The SLAINTE service displays information in pages in a standard layout. You will see the following navigation buttons etc.displayed on every page, from top to bottom:
