CILIPS > Continuing Professional Development > Practical uses of web 2.0 in the library

CILIPS CPD course content was designed to complement the CILIP Body of Professional Knowledge and link to CILIP Framework of Qualifications, the National Occupational Standard (NOS) framework and the NHS Scotland Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF).

This practical workshop was organised by CILIPS in partnership with the Multimedia Information and Technology Scotland Group (MmITS). The event was led by Phil Bradley, the renowned Internet consultant, trainer and writer for CILIP Update. The course provided an informal and enjoyable overview of the current Web 2.0 landscape with hands-on experience of the tools. The aim of this course was to enhance the ability of library professionals to design and deliver appropriate learning outcomes for a variety of client groups.
