Information exchange

We have now set up an e-group designed to give people working in the field of community information, often as "lone rangers", the opportunity to:

• Share information.
• Seek information.
• Voice their opinions & views.
• Promote their service.
• Become part of a virtual network, and thus tackle the isolation experienced by many in this field of work.

To join this e-group go to groups.yahoo.com/group/csgscotland and follow the instructions. By joining this e-group you will have the benefit of sharing information with others and becoming part of a virtual community information network.

However, you can unsubscribe at any time, by following the instructions given on the web-site. Membership is FREE and open to individuals and agencies with an interest in Community Information.

How it works

• Email messages from individual members will be sent to all members of the group.
• When you register, or at a later date, you can choose how you would like these emails delivered, either individually, or in batches.
• You can choose to have messages sent to your personal mail box or to access them from the web-site.
• You can choose to reply to all members of the group, by clicking on the reply button, or to an individual,by entering their personal email address. (You might choose to do this if you want to set up a meeting.)

Please only post messages or seek answers for queries that are relevant to Community Information Services.

Please do not send attachments as these will be automatically discarded. If you want to send information as an attachment send it to general@csgscotland.org.uk. We will arrange to have it distributed or posted on the website.

We do however reserve the right to exercise editorial control.
