Becoming involved in ISG (Scotland)

There are a couple of ways to get involved in ISG (Scotland) activities.

Suggesting / Attending future ISG (Scotland) events

We are very interested in ISG members' suggestions as to what they would like to see from ISG (Scotland).

Is there a particular topic you would like to see covered in a seminar or workshop?

Are there any speakers you would like to listen to?

Is there a library service you would like to visit?

Previous events include: a Freedom of Information seminar; a talk followed by questions & answers with Patricia Ferguson MSP; a visit to the Edinburgh College of Art library; and a seminar on ‘Librarians & legislation’.

Joining the ISG Scotland committee

Do you want to be more involved in your profession in Scotland?

Can you spare 3 half days a year?

Do you want to help organise training and networking meetings in Scotland?

Are you a member of the Information Services Group?

Then why not join the ISG (Scotland) Committee. At present we have members from Edinburgh and Dundee but we would like to extend our membership across the country.
