RDA: resource description and access

RDA: resource description and access is a new content standard for bibliographic metadata. Although it will be built on the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules, and records resulting from its use will be compatible with those created in the past, what is being developed is in effect a new standard for resource description and access, designed for the digital world.
