| Notes | FULLY BOOKED Please contact the organiser using the details above regarding last minute availability. **The Multimedia Information Technology Group Scotland (MmITS) is sponsoring two places for CILIP chartership candidates studying under the supervision of a Scottish library and information sector institution, at E-books unbound: the 11th Annual E-Books Conference. The cost of the conference fees and travel expenses within Scotland will be met. The successful candidate will be expected to produce a report on the Conference. Applications, including a supporting statement, should be made by emailing Paulette Hill, MmITS Treasurer, at Paulette.Hill@scotland.gsi.gov.uk with your full contact details by the deadline of 23rd September 2011.** The conference theme this year is an exploration of business models for ebooks and a look at the growing influence of patron driven acquisition on library services. EBooks unbound features keynote speaker Charles Oppenheim, Sophie Rochester of the Literary Platform and Nora Daly of the British Library. Other confirmed speakers to follow. |
