- The Brige of Allan Library has started a travel group which makes use of a Wiki for users to share information about their travel experiences on the web.

- Broxburn Library use Facebook and Bebo to promote books and library events to their members.

- Dundee City Libraries have recently started experimenting with blogging software to promote some of their work.

- Edinburgh City Libraries have incorporated a range of Web2.0 tools with in their web pages.

- Outlines a positive experience of using Twitter to open up communication with users.
Higher Education Libraries
- Jordanhill Campus Library, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow
- Staff have started using blogs and other social media to keep users informed about their new content.

- The Library has incorporated a broad range of Web2.0 tools within its webpages.
