The Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Applications of ICT In Libraries has been created to certificate the learning provided by the Building the New Library Network training. The outcomes in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have been used as the basis for a set of Higher National Units which comprise an accredited qualification.
It is expected that candidates coming forward for the Diploma /Advanced Diploma will be from the group of 20,000 public library staff who have benefited from previous training. However, staff new to the public library sector may also undergo training which will lead to the award. Click any of the following links for further information:
