What is the information task?

Your information task will be related to one of the other areas of study which you are undertaking. Basically you are gathering information which you will use to support a learning activity in that particular subject area.

Before starting on the information task it is important that you are crystal clear about what is expected from you by your subject teacher.

The components of an information task process consists of the following activities:

• Defining the task 1
• Defining the task 2
• Devising a search strategy
• Undertaking the search
• Evaluating the information found
