Clear Vision
Project
A subscription based service, ClearVision is a UK postal lending library
of mainstream children's books with added braille. All books have braille,
print and pictures, making them suitable for visually-impaired and sighted
children and adults to share.
RNIB National
Library Service
The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) provides a wide
range of library and information services for visually impaired people,
their families and anyone with an interest in visual impairment. The site
includes details of how to join the RNIB Lending Library, the largest
collection in Europe (books available in Braille and Moon).
Literacy:
Shared Reading Project
A US programme that teaches parents and caregivers how to read to their
deaf children and strategies to make book sharing most effective.
