Rhona Arthur, BA FCLIP, Assistant Director CILIPS/SLIC since 1997 and was previously professional officer at the Scottish Library Association. Her work focuses on the development of public and school library services, readership development and training. She is currently involved in the development of self assessment tools for use in the public and the school library sectors and is an External Verifier for the Scottish Qualifications Authority. In 2008 she provided consultancy services as job share Interim Libraries and Information Services Manager for the City of Edinburgh Council and she has recently been involved in consultancy work for the State Library of Victoria’s Being the Best We Can self evaluation project.
